The professionals at Haddenham Dental use the Boutique professional teeth whitening system. Your dentist will take an impression of your mouth, creating a mouthguard that allows you to continue the treatment at home.

You will be prescribed a topical gel containing 10-16% carbide peroxide. This is the active ingredient that turns your teeth white. But what makes the Boutique teeth whitening treatment so safe is that, unlike most comparable treatments, it contains no harmful ingredients, such as citric acid, lemon juice and bicarbonate soda.

Whilst these may reduce discolouration in the short term, they are also prone to causing long-term damage.

The procedure is usually entirely painless but can occasionally cause a little sensitivity during the whitening process.

If you look after your teeth and follow your dentist’s advice, clinical studies show some of the effects will last up to 5 years however you may want to top it up after 12-18 months.

You should notice a change in your teeth’s colour within 4–5 applications of your peroxide-based gel.
